On Monday, January 13th, the United Collegiate Hockey Conference
announced its selections for men's hockey player, goaltenders, and
rookies of the week. Cole Hudson and Kaleb Miller were named UCHC Goaltender and Co-Rookie of the Week following strong performances this past weekend.
Cole Hudson
received UCHC Goaltender of the Week honors following his excellent
outing in Brockport's 4-3 overtime win at Fredonia on Friday. Making
four game-saving stops in overtime, Hudson would finish with 35 saves on
the day, allowing just three goals. On the season, Hudson has made 210
saves to 27 goals allowed, holding a .886 save percentage in seven
starts.
Kaleb Miller
was selected for UCHC Co-Rookie of the Week for his performances
at Fredonia and Elmira last weekend. Against Elmira, Miller would score
the golden goal for Brockport, netting the game-winner for his second
goal of the season. In a loss against Elmira, Miller helped kickstart
the offense, recording an assist on Brockport's opening goal. In his
first season in the Green and Gold, Miller has posted two goals and
three assists for five points in 12 games.
