The South Shore Kings are excited to announce NCDC Defenseman and 2024 Dineen Cup Champion Jackson Faughnan has committed to SUNY Brockport for this fall.
Faughnan, a native of Binghamton, NY, is in his 2nd season with the Kings NCDC team. Jackson has recorded 6 assists through 22 games thus far this season.
"It’s been a blast playing for the Kings for the past 2 years. I feel that the day-to-day competitive environment and winning culture created by the coaches and leadership group within the team has definitely improved my playing ability and overall character as a person. I came to the understanding pretty early on that the Kings organization is one of the best in junior hockey and I’m very fortunate to have spent my junior years in Foxboro." - Jackson Faughnan
"Prior to Jackson joining the Kings, I had the opportunity to coach him at Milton Academy for 2 years. He has taken a big step in his 2nd season with us. Jackson leads by example. His on ice compete level day in and day out speaks for itself. He is well respected in the room. He plays a strong defensive game and is a big reason why our penalty kill has been strong this season. I look forward to watching him succeed at the next level." said GM/Head Coach Tyler Holske
