Senior goaltender Nolan Egbert was named the SUNYAC Goaltender of the Week in a release by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
A transfer student, Egbert made his debut for the Golden Eagle's Saturday evening on the road against Neumann University. Egbert managed to record a shutout in the teams 6-0 victory over the Knights. Playing a total of 59:50 in net, Egbert stopped 25 shots for the Green and Gold in Saturday's win. His play in the contest was enough to earn him the teams fire helmet which is given to the teams best player following a victory.
