Brockport's Matt Schneider has been named the SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Goalie of the Week, in a release by the conference office on Monday.
Schneider recorded a shutout as he led the Golden Eagles to a 2-0 win on the road at Buffalo State Saturday night, as Brockport clinched a spot in the upcoming SUNYAC Conference Tournament. Schneider made 22 saves and the senior tied the program-record for career wins as he picked up his 29th victory over the course of the last 4 seasons. He needs just one more win to earn sole possession of the record while becoming the first goalie in program-history to reach 30 career victories.
