James Garrett Fennell, known as Jimmy and Bucky, 73, of Levittown, New York, passed away surrounded by his loving family.
Born November 4, 1952, to James and Margaret Fennell, Jim worked at Syosset Sports Center, serving the New York Islanders, and later at Cosby Sporting Goods, serving the New York Rangers. A lifelong hockey enthusiast, he played for Nassau Community College and SUNY Brockport.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughter, Kristina, and her husband Jason; his son, James, and his wife Amanda (son Caleb); his fur grandbabies EZ, Jackson, and Loki; and his siblings, Marilyn and Richard.
Jim was a popular, witty and big-hearted man who cherished family and lifelong friends. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.
