Prior to the start of Friday night’s hockey game against Utica, the Golden Eagles presented a $5,000 check to the Willie Bee Foundation.
Bport raised funds for the Willie Bee Foundation through its annual jersey silent auction.
The Willie Bee Foundation is a charitable organization founded in August of 2017 to benefit local families who have a child facing a life-threatening illness. The Willie Bee Foundation was founded in memory of Will, who lost his life after a courageous battle with AT/RT, an aggressive brain tumor just a few weeks shy of his second birthday.
