The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced
the 2022 SUNYAC All-Tournament team on Saturday night following the
conclusion of the Championship game which saw SUNY Geneseo defeat Oswego
State 6-1.

of SUNY Brockport was named a member of the SUNYAC All-Tournament team
as the rookie from Sugar Hill, Georgia scored a total of six points in
the first two rounds of the tournament. Against Plattsburgh State in the
first round of the tournament, Galloway recorded a hat trick along with
two assists for a total of five points in one playoff game, a program
record.
The team would go on to defeat Plattsburgh by a thrilling overtime
victory of 7-6 to advance to the semi-final game of the tournament at
SUNY Geneseo against the Knights. Galloway would go on to record one
assist, bringing his points total up to six in the tournament as the
team would eventually fall to SUNY Geneseo by a score of 3-1 to conclude
the Golden Eagles season.
With his six points in the tournament, Galloway combined for a season
total of 31 points made up of 11 goals and 20 assists and surpassed the
30 points mark for a single season. The other two skaters on the team
who also surpassed 30 or more points this season were rookie and third
team All-SUNYAC selection Andrew Harley
with 32 points on a team leading 15 goals and 17 assists and the SUNYAC
First-Team, SUNYAC Herb Hammond and SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year
graduate student Ryan Romeo
who recorded 12 goals and a team high 25 assists for 37 points. This is
the first time in approximately ten or more years that three skaters
for the Golden Eagles have recorded 30+ points in one season.
