Tim Cronin, a forward for the New Hampshire Avalanche, has committed to SUNY Brockport for the fall of 2020.
The '99 native of Derry, NH is in his third season with the Avalanche, and to date, he's tallied 82 total points in 75 career games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL).
"Timmy has been with us for three seasons combined between the junior and midget U18 programs," said Avalanche head coach and general manager Chris Cerrella. "He is a great teammate and has an incredible passion for the game. He is going to add some jam to the Brockport lineup over the next four seasons. I am very happy for Timmy; he had some great options for next season but felt Brockport was the best fit for him. I wish him and his family the best of luck. I am really looking forward to following his college career."
As Cerrella mentioned, Cronin will become an alum of not just the junior program, but the midget program as well. Working his way up the Avalanche system has helped the forward develop his game to the point where he is ready to play in college. Overall, Cronin is beyond thankful for everything that the Avalanche did for him.
"I can’t say enough great things about my experience with the Avalanche program," said Cronin. "I want to thank Coach Cerrella and Mario Martiniello for believing in me since day one. The Avs and the EHL have prepared me on and off the ice for the next level, and I am grateful for that. I couldn’t be more excited about joining the SUNY Brockport community next year. It has been a long journey to college hockey, but I am glad I chose the Avalanche program to help me get there.”
