The College at Brockport ice hockey team was at home on Saturday for a
SUNYAC battle against Buffalo State. The visiting Bengals took the win,
with the final score reading 3-0.
The loss puts the Green and Gold at 5-3 overall and 5-3 in conference play so far this year. The Bengals improve to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the SUNYAC.
Buffalo State scored one goal in each period to seal the deal. Brockport outshot its opponent but was unable to find the back of the net in the contest. The team also had a slight edge in the face-off battle, 38-36.
Matt Schneider would finish with 26 saves in the contest, including 12 in the third period.
