Junior men’s hockey goalkeeper Aaron Green (Mt. Albert, ONT) has been
chosen as The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week
ending on February 16.
Green had an outstanding weekend in net for the Golden Eagles. Green’s strong performance helped keep Brockport’s playoff hopes alive with two important wins.
On Friday against Cortland, Green made 27 saves including two on breakaway shots as the Golden Eagles came from behind for a 5-3 win.
Green was once again a force for Brockport on Saturday. Against Oswego, Green made a career-high 44 saves to help the Golden Eagles hang on for a 3-2 win. The win over Oswego was the first time Brockport beat the Lakers in 11 years.
