Junior Aaron Green
(Mt. Albert, ONT) of The College at Brockport men's ice hockey team has
been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference
(SUNYAC) Goalie of the Week for the week ending on February 23.
Green had another exceptional weekend in goal for the Golden Eagles, adding two more wins to his record. Green has been undefeated in net for the past two weeks, posting a 4-0 record and improving his overall record to 7-2-0.
On Friday, Green held Fredonia to just one goal. In 60 minutes, he recorded 16 saves. The win helped secure a spot for the Golden Eagles in the SUNYAC playoffs.
Against Buffalo State on Saturday, Green held his own. He finished the game with 32 saves and kept Brockport ahead of the Bengals 3-2. With the win, Brockport jumped into the fifth seed for playoffs.
