Can't make it to Brockport to watch the game? Watch it online!
Last night I received a message from Brockport alumnus Dale Budziszewski
who had been the voice of the hockey team on 89.1 WBSU a few years ago. He said the athletic department is running live video of all home games including tonight's game versus Nazareth.
Dale will be handling play-by-play duties with Tre Berg who is a current student doing color commentary. There are a few nights (fewer than most years) when hoops and hockey are both home. In that case, Dale will be doing the basketball games and Tre will be doing hockey on his own.
If you go to the schedule on the school website and click "details" on the right side, the link to watch the game is there with live stats and the pregame story. There will only be a short pre-game show (a few minutes) and don't expect any graphics, but it's the next best thing if you can't make it out to the game.
Dale said they've done each home game for football and should have all the technical kinks worked out.
This is a pretty cool benefit for alumni, parents, and the like!
