Ryan Silveira (Brampton, Ont) is this week’s male athlete of the week at SUNY Brockport.The sophomore center added a pair of game-winning goals in helping lead the Golden Eagles to a perfect 2-0 week, and adding to the school-record 9-game unbeaten streak (7-0-2).
On Wednesday night, Silveira scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Golden Eagles to a 2-1 victory over Western New England. On Saturday evening, he would also score the game-winning goal with 11 minutes left in third period to help defeat Morrisville 3-2.
