Mike Gershon (Sparta, NJ) is the College at Brockport’s male athlete of the week after scoring three goals in Brockport’s 7-2 victory over SUNY Geneseso.The senior defensemen scored his first goal in the first period to give Brockport a 2-1 lead. He added his second goal on the power play in the early in the second period, and scored his third goal late in third period to complete his hat trick.
Gershon has recorded the first known hat trick in Brockport history for a defenseman.
