Sacha Trudel of the Idaho Falls Spud Kings has committed to Brockport. The left winger from Quebec had a 2-13-15 line in 28 games for the Spud Kings this past season and wore the "C".
Said Trudel: "I am proud and honored to announce my commitment to play NCAA hockey at SUNY Brockport. Thank you to my family, teammates, coaches and everyone that helped me and supported me along the way. A special thank you to Erik Hudson, John Becanic, Susan and Ken Rhodes, and Spud Kingdom for an unforgettable end to my junior career."
GM Erik Hudson commented, “Sacha is exactly what we look for in players for the Spud Kings’ organization. His dedication, character, and hard work throughout his hockey career have afforded him the chance to play at the next level- which is NCAA hockey. We will miss Sacha, but he will always be a Spud King.”
