Brockport beats Fredonia on Willie Bee Night

In tonight's non-conference matchup, the Golden Eagles soared past Fredonia on Willie Bee Night with a final score of 5-1. Brockport is now 6-9-2 overall on the season and remain at 3-5 in the conference. 
   
Scott Ramaekers got the Golden Eagles up on the board first with a goal at 6:45 into the first period. Scott was assisted by Jacob Gates and Connor Galloway. Fredonia neglected to answer the call and headed into the first intermission down by one.
 
Brockport opened the second period in similar fashion with another score. Connor Galloway scored at 4:12 into the second period, assisted by Dominic Chirico. The rest of the second was scoreless, sending Fredonia into the second intermission down 2-0.
 
The Golden Eagles once again opened up the third period with a goal by Matt Anastasio at 7:23. Ramaekers and Galloway both picked up another point with assists on the play.
 
Fredonia scored its first and only goal of the game on a power play at 11:11 into the third to prevent a shutout. Brockport remained ahead with a comfortable 3-1 lead in the final period.

Connor Roach scored the fourth goal of the night at 13:57 and the fifth at 17:27. His first goal was assisted by Andrew Harley and Manny Sanchez, while his final goal was an unassisted empty netter. Roach pushed the score to a 5-1 Brockport lead, providing the final tally.
 
David Filak spent 60:00 minutes in goal, making 31 saves and allowing just one goal.
