ATHLETC DEPARTMENT'S NEWS REPORT ABOUT SEASON OPENER

The College at Brockport Men's Hockey team will open its 2012-2013 campaign against Nazareth at 7:00 pm on Tuesday night in the Tuttle North Ice Arena. The game will also hold the Annual Coat Drive at the entrance to the games.

The Golden Eagles enter the 2012-2013 season after posting a 9-13-3 record last year. The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Preseason Coaches Poll was announced earlier this week and the Golden Eagles are picked to finish seventh after receiving 25 points. Oswego took the top overall spot in the poll after receiving seven first-place votes.

The annual coat drive will be set up in the main entrance of the Special Events and Recreation Center (SERC). Any fan who donates a gently used coat to the hockey game will receive free admission. All donations will go to the Brockport Clothing Closet.

Tickets for all hockey events this year will now be located in the lobby of the SERC where fans will then enter into the Tuttle North Ice Arena.  Concessions for all games will be available at Eagle Snax, also located in the lobby of the SERC. Handicapped entrance to the game will be located outside the main entrance to the hockey rink in the Tuttle North Ice Arena.

Brockport students, faculty, and staff will receive free admission to all hockey games throughout the year. General admission tickets are $5. Tickets for senior citizens and non-Brockport students will be $3.
