The State University of New York College at Brockport announced its weekly honors and Brockport freshman forward Mitchell Parsons has been selected as Athlete of the Week.
Parsons helped lead the Golden Eagles to a first-place finish at the Catamount Radio Invite this past weekend by contributing four points on offense (2g-2a). Parsons tallied a goal and added two assists in Brockport's 5-1 win over Anna Maria College Friday Night and picked up another goal in their 3-0 win over Castleton University Saturday. Following the championship game, Parsons was awarded tournament MVP. He currently leads the Golden Eagles in scoring, boasting 10 points in nine outings
